Human brain cells implanted in rats offer research gold mine
TOKYO, Japan – Scientists have successfully implanted and integrated human brain cells into newborn rats, creating a new way to study complex psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and autism, and perhaps eventually test treatments.
